La parte de reading del examen pone a prueba tu capacidad para comprender textos académicos y coloquiales en inglés.


Vas a encontrar textos de muchos tipos, desde artículos de revista hasta textos científicos y universitarios. 


Pero no te me pongas todo nervioso, que te tengo una buena noticia, especialmente si te gustan los temas paranormales.


La buena noticia es que en este artículo te guiaré a través de un ejercicio de lectura real del TOEFL basado en un tema fascinante: los viajeros del tiempo (Time Travellers).


Además, como soy bien bondadoso, te voy a regalar algunas preguntas estilo TOEFL, y las respuestas al final, para que puedas ver si ya estás listo para tomar esta sección del examen con éxito.

Te voy a ser bien sincero, como todo buen político: la dificultad del reading del TOEFL depende de tu nivel actual de comprensión de lectura en inglés.


Si te gusta leer en inglés, entonces no creo que tengas mucho problema con esta sección.

Sin embargo, si no te gusta leer mucho en inglés, entonces, la verdad estás bien frito :(


Los textos suelen ser similares a los de los libros universitarios: aburridos, informativos y con vocabulario técnico.


Además, las preguntas no solo van a evaluar tu comprensión, sino también qué tan bien entiendes la idea general y el vocabulario técnico o literario del texto.
